2021 Global Symposium - Keynote

Professor Robert Bartlett gave the Keynote Address as part of the 2021 Global Symposium for the COVID-19 Critical Care Consortium.

The half-day symposium was a chance to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our Consortium and the discoveries and achievements we have made in the last 18 months.

Ground-breaking and internationally recognised medical researcher and surgeon, Professor Robert H. Bartlett is known around the world as the Father of ECMO for his pioneering work in the development ECMO. Currently a Professor of Surgery in the Division of Acute Care Surgery at the University of Michigan Medical Center and the Chair of the COVID-19 Critical Care Consortium.
